Bulb Planting, November 2004
The bulb planting day in November was the first event for most of us. As such it was a chance to get outside as well as to make acquaintances. Armed with gloves and spades we set to work planting out a huge bag of daffodil bulbs. We planted them around the entrance to the woods on Manor Rise.
Despite having weeds to contend with we had finished with time to spare. So an impromptu walk in the woods was in order during which we saw many types of fungi.
When spring finally came we had the pleasure of seeing the daffodils in flower, enhancing the woods' entrance as intended.
